Matthew Roche has been working in technology for 25 years, including time spent as a trainer, mentor, consultant, developer, and architect. He's been self-employed, he's co-founded startups, he's worked for small- and medium-sized companies, and for the past 13 years he's been a program manager at Microsoft, working on a wide range of products and services. Starting from humble beginnings, Matthew has achieved successes he could never have imagined...
...but he has never had a plan.

Matthew Roche is a Principal Program Manager in Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, where he focuses on data culture, business intelligence, enterprise information management, metadata, and data warehousing. Matthew is currently a member of the Fabric CAT team, where he was saddened to learn that there were not actually any cats. Previously Matthew has worked on Power BI, Azure Data Catalog, Power BI for Office 365, SQL Server Integration Services, Master Data Services, and Data Quality Services. Before joining Microsoft, he worked as an architect, consultant, and trainer focusing on ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
