While you are probably already familiar with Power BI, Power Apps and Microsoft Flow; you may not know that Microsoft is bringing these tools together into a unified brand called: the Microsoft Power platform. In this session Microsoft Senior Program Manager, Charles Sterling will give an all demo introduction to these products AND how you can use these products together with other offerings such as their new database engine called Common Data Service for Apps and Microsoft Forms to create very sophisticated “no code/low code” solutions for Business Analysts and citizen developers.
Hang out with us as Reza Rad and I talk about error handling within Power Query in Power BI Desktop (and also in Dataflows). We will discuss the situations when the error happens...but nothing is captured for troubleshooting! We will discuss and also go through demos of how to handle errors and create a troubleshooting report.

Power BI offers an add-in to work with 3rd party external tools like Tabular Editor, DAX Studio and ALM toolkit. The fact that you can use a tool of your own preference is already really cool! But did you know that you can build external tools yourself pretty easily? Even as a non-developer it's possible to build an External Tool for Power BI!
