(Livestream Replay) Why High Density Dashboards Require Consistent Report Notation - with Jürgen Faisst

DESCRIPTION 📄

Understanding business reality, identifying risks, and assessing future trends requires a comprehensive view including comparisons and context. We rarely find the level of information density needed for such a comprehensive view in today’s dashboards. A key reason is the lack of visual consistency. Contrary to the records of architects, musicians, cartographers or engineers, there is no standardized notation in business yet. The global IBCS community, specialized IBCS Certified Software providers, and mega-vendors such as SAP and Microsoft are well on the way to changing this.

GUEST BIO 👤

Dr. Jürgen Faisst is co-author of the game-changing book "SOLID | OUTLINED | HATCHED – How visual consistency helps better understand reports, presentations and dashboards". As an experienced C-level manager, appreciated instructor, and passionate musician he frequently gives keynotes at international conferences. Today he serves as a Partner at IBCS Institute where he is on a mission to enhance the legibility of reports by applying a consistent visual design.
